RSCN implements green infrastructure project in Jordan

AMMAN (JNews) — The Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (RSCN) is implementing a project to improve green infrastructure in Jordan through labor-intensive techniques. This project is in partnership with the Ministry of Environment and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
Head of Yarmouk Forest Reserve, Mohammed Malkawi, said that this project will rehabilitate approximately 600 dunums of the reserve. He said that the new project will plant about 120,000 deciduous oaks, indicating that 30,000 deciduous oaks were planted in 2021.
